Frequently Asked Questions

1. How does Learning Cave work?

Learning Cave connects students with suitable tutors based on their academic requirements, grade, board, subjects, learning goals, and preferred tutor category.

Simply submit your requirements through our enquiry form. We’ll contact you personally, understand your needs, recommend a suitable tutor, and arrange a free demo class before regular classes begin.

2. Is the demo class free?

Yes. Your child can attend a free demo class before you decide whether to continue with the tutor.

A Learning Cave representative will accompany the tutor during the demo to help ensure that the experience is suitable for your child.

3. Do I have to pay anything before the demo class?

No. There is no upfront payment required to request a tutor or attend the demo class.

4. How do you choose a tutor for my child?

We don't simply assign the next available tutor.

We consider factors such as your child's grade, board, subjects, academic requirements, learning goals, and the tutor's experience before recommending a tutor.

5. Can I change the tutor if my child isn't comfortable?

Yes. If the tutor isn't a suitable fit for your child, you can discuss your concerns with us and we can work towards finding a more suitable tutor.

6. When do regular classes start?

Regular classes begin after a successful demo class and confirmation of the tutor assignment. The schedule is then fixed according to the student's requirements and the tutor's availability.

7. How are classes scheduled?

Class timings are discussed and agreed upon between the parent, student, and tutor, based on the student's requirements and the tutor's availability.

8. How much does tutoring cost?

The fee depends on the tutor category, subject, grade, requirements, and class arrangement.

We discuss the applicable fee with you before regular classes begin, so there are no surprises.

9. How do payments work?

Parents are billed monthly for the classes conducted. You don't need to make a large upfront payment for an entire course.

10. Does Learning Cave provide study material and assignments?

Learning Cave's support goes beyond simply conducting classes. Depending on the student's requirements, tutors may provide assignments, tests, and academic practice as part of the learning process.

11. How do you track my child's progress?

We maintain regular academic assessments covering areas such as assignments, tests, and overall student progress. This helps us understand how the student is developing and where additional support may be required.

12. Does Learning Cave guarantee academic results?

We focus on providing the right tutor, structured academic support, regular practice, and progress tracking. However, academic results depend on several factors, including the student's effort, consistency, attendance, and cooperation.

I'd strongly recommend this wording rather than saying you guarantee results on the website.

13. Which boards and classes do you provide tutoring for?

Learning Cave can support students across a wide range of classes, subjects, and educational boards, including boards such as CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, IB, and Cambridge, subject to tutor availability.

14. Do you provide tutoring for both school and competitive exams?

Yes. Depending on tutor availability, Learning Cave can connect students with tutors for school academics as well as exam-oriented preparation.

15. Can I request a tutor for multiple subjects?

Yes. You can discuss your child's requirements with us, and we'll help determine the most suitable tutoring arrangement.

16. Do you provide online or offline tutoring?

Tutoring arrangements depend on the student's requirements and tutor availability. You can discuss your preferred mode with us when submitting your enquiry.

17. How can I request a tutor?
